My "mother of girls first:" Trying to explain, to my teenaged daughter, the difference between "Louis  Vuitton" and "[Christian] Louboutin."  I never realized how close those names sound, and that some people pronounce them the same!

My mom with Jennifer (left) and Autumn (right) on Easter, 2011.  She looked so healthy here.  It's hard to believe that the jaundice came on so quickly.
